In a prestigious ceremony held at the Ceylon International Schools Network in the UAE, Mrs. K. Dona Harshani, the esteemed Country Coordinator for the UAE and Coordination Secretary to the Chief Executive Director of the Human Rights Protection Organization, was recognized for her unwavering commitment and dedicated service to human rights initiatives on 14th of October 2024.
Dr. M. M. Shafaan, the Chief Executive Director of the Human Rights Protection Organization, presented the award, highlighting Mrs. Harshani’s invaluable contributions since the inception of the organization. Her tireless efforts and leadership have significantly advanced the mission of protecting and promoting human rights within the community.
In addition to her role in human rights advocacy, Mrs. Harshani also serves as the Chief Principal of the Ceylon International Schools Network in the UAE, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape for students.
