Prison Commissioner General Thushara Upuldeniya, who is currently remanded in custody due to a suspension, was brought to the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (11) by prison officials.
The case related to the illegal release of a prisoner held at the Anuradhapura Prison is scheduled to be taken up today.
