The water supply has been disconnected in a part of the Wijerama official residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa where his security guards are staying.
The reason for this water cut is said to be the non-payment of outstanding bills of 300,000.
However, it is said that there has been no water cut in the part where Mahinda Rajapaksa is staying.
The former President’s media spokesperson, Attorney-at-Law Manoj Gamage, states that the bills related to the water supply at his Wijerama official residence are paid by the Presidential Secretariat.

මෙම ජල කප්පාදුවට හේතුව ලක්ෂ 3ක හිඟ බිල්පත් නොගෙවීම බව සඳහන්.
කෙසේ නමුත් මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා රැඳී සිටින කොටසේ ජල කප්පාදුවක් සිදුකර නොමැති බව සඳහන්.
හිටපු ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ විජේරාම නිල නිවසේ ජල සැපයුමට අදාළ බිල්පත් ගෙවීම් සිදුකරනු ලබන්නේ ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලය විසින් බවයි ඔහුගේ මාධ්ය ප්රකාශක නීතිඥ මනෝජ් ගමගේ සඳහන් කරන්නේ.
