borrowers with loans of less than Rs. 25 million to renegotiate their loans with the banks and agree on a payment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Central Bank, a 9-month extension has also been given to borrowers with loans between Rs. 25 and 50 million, and a 6-month extension has been given to other borrowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of postponing the implementation date of the Parata law, the government has held discussions with stakeholder groups to ensure that acceptable solutions are found to this long-standing problem, and as a result, the implementation of the Parata law has now been extended to March 31, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Economic Development says that relief for businesses is not only provided by extending the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This relief package, proposed by the government and implemented by the Central Bank, also consists of several important measures such as lower interest rates, extension of repayment periods, easing of credit ratings and providing a transparent mechanism for resolving valuation disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry further stated that the main objective of these relief measures is to ensure the active participation of small and
