Kurunegala, December 1, 2024 \u2013 In a momentous step toward strengthening its mission, the Human Rights Protection Organization has appointed Mr. R. W. G. Athula Kumar as the new District Coordinator for the Kurunegala District. The official appointment ceremony took place on December 1, 2024, at the organization’s local office in Kurunegala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Dimuthu Daluwatte, the Executive Director of the organization, presided over the appointment, following directives from Dr. M. M. Shafaan, the Chief Executive Director of the organization. The ceremony marks a significant milestone in the organization’s efforts to protect human rights and advocate for marginalized communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
