2025.<br>This was at the press conference held at the Public Utilities Commission today (June 11) to announce the new tariffs.<br>These new tariffs are scheduled to be implemented from midnight today (June 11).<br>&#8216;CEB profit in 2024 Rs. 61 billion&#8217;<br>The Ceylon Electricity Board had proposed an 18% increase in tariffs, claiming that it had incurred a loss of Rs. 8 billion due to the reduction in electricity tariffs in the first three months of this year.<br>Public consultation programs in this regard were currently being held covering all provinces of the island, and during those programs, strong criticism was leveled against the Ceylon Electricity Board&#8217;s calculations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0d85\u0daf \u0db8\u0db0\u0dca\u200d\u0dba\u0db8
