Gerandiella area of \u200b\u200bKotmale on the Nuwara Eliya-Gampola main road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government is deeply concerned about the increasing number of road accidents occurring daily in the country and is currently working diligently to formulate a permanent program to prevent such accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe that these accidents can be significantly reduced by implementing existing laws and improving the attitudes of drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A program has already been planned for this under the \u201cClean Sri Lanka\u201d program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I express my deepest condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives in this horrific road accident that occurred this morning and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would also like to remind you that instructions have been given to the security forces and health sectors to prepare all relevant hospitals for the treatment of the injured and to take all necessary further measures in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
