elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accordingly, the Election Commission says that the opportunity to mark postal votes has been given today (25) as well as on April 28 and 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Postal vote applicants from all institutions including state institutions, police, tri-forces, schools, corporations, statutory boards have been given the opportunity to mark postal votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Election Commission also stated that 648,495 applicants are eligible to vote by mail in relation to this year&#8217;s local government elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake said that the time given to mark postal votes will not be extended again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A special postal vote marking media center has been established at the Kandy High School for Girls to mark postal votes for police
