has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for allegedly demanding and receiving a bribe of Rs. 2 lakh to renew a hotel license in Dambulla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to reports, the arrest was made following an investigation into allegations that the Public Health Inspector had demanded a bribe from the hotel management to expedite the process of renewing the license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commission conducted the operation after receiving a complaint regarding the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials have not yet revealed further details about the identity of the suspect or other individuals involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further
