sfmnewslk.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is reported that a method of obtaining loans without collateral for industrialists is to be introduced in this year&#8217;s budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is said that a proposal to provide a grace period to start paying off loans obtained in this way has also been included in the budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma stated at the Committee on Ways and Means held in Parliament recently that these proposals will be seen in this year&#8217;s budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Deputy Minister said that by increasing the country&#8217;s production, the people have been given the opportunity to earn the foreign exchange needed by the country and to be able to pay off at least a part of the existing debt, and it is the government&#8217;s responsibility to fulfill that objective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Committee had been convened to discuss the South Asian Free Trade Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Export Development Board also participated in this discussion and the Deputy Minister stated that it is necessary to educate industrialists about the concessional programs that can be provided to
