reports that Adani has cancelled its proposed 484 MW wind projects in Mannar and Poonamallee in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Issuing an official statement in this regard, a spokesperson said that the reports are false and misleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision to re-evaluate the tariffs approved by the Sri Lankan Cabinet in May 2024 on 2 January 2025 is a standard review process undertaken by the new government, the statement said, adding that the review is aimed at ensuring alignment with the country\u2019s updated energy policies and priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adani Group, which stresses that these projects have not been implemented, says it is committed to investing $1 billion in Sri Lanka\u2019s green energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the (24th), a number of local and foreign media outlets had reported that these Adani projects in Sri Lanka had been
