class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Welfare Benefits Board has announced that the census of low-income families who have submitted applications for the second phase of the welfare benefits will be conducted this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The board states that training of officers is currently underway for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Low-income families who should be entitled to welfare benefits but have not yet received them have been given the opportunity to apply in the second phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment says that the Ministry of Finance has issued a circular to pay special attention to low-income families who should be entitled to welfare benefits but have not yet received them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Minister Wasantha Piyatissa stated that special
